Hello World...

Welcome to this blog!  Here we are going to explore the content that many of us (yes, me included during high school) ignored and/or had our eyes glaze over when we were being taught it.  I am a certified Social Studies teacher in Texas, so I will mostly be covering the standards expected for Texas students to meet.  I am hoping to have some guest posts by fellow educator experts in these fields as we go.
